Dushera Utsav 2008

Dushera celebration in Cairo sees huge turnout! Dushera night held on Oct 10th in Cairo saw more than 850 people turn up at MBIS grounds, Maadi. It was a night to behold, with the crowd enjoying an evening of Indian food and Indian music, and pleasant weather.

The crowd participated in a spectacular gharba and dandiya dance show that went on for hours. All were also entertained by some special talents on-stage, from the community. There were lots of food stalls selling Indian food, and they all did roaring business and many of the favourite dishes were sold out much before the end of the show.

Truly a spectacular evening to remember till the next one.

The ICAE community takes pleasure in thanking everyone for the enthusiasm and spirit which made the evening truly special.
