Indian Cricket Team wins BCA Cricket Carnival

They call themselves the ‘Men in White’ and they have a reputation to boot ! Defending champions of the 2005 Cricket Carnival Cup, the Indian cricket team of Cairo put up a spectacular spin to the game the whole of 2007, having ripped through 7 other local teams including the Muffadal 11, the Pakistan 11 and the Alex 11.

The 2007 dawn to dusk Cricket Carnival saw a battle between the titans India, Pakistan and Britain at the Victoria Grounds, on 26th and 27th October 2007. There may not have been samba dancers but there was enough color and excitement to warm up the cool, autumn air. Chilled beer, pork pies, red hot pork sausages, and home baked Christmas puddings were available. And so were Natasha’s home made air dried beef strips. India emerged as the winners once again following which live music entertained the crowd.
